The Site Content Manager is like having an FTP client, text editor and server authentication manager all rolled into one, using an intuitive design that is easy to understand. You can create folders, edit files inline, upload and download files, copy files (includes a clipboard), rename folders and files, set permissions, and even set up folders with server-level authentication. Server-level authentication allows you to create a login and password requirement on a folder. Anyone that goes to the folder must provide the login and password before they can continue. What is even better is, the Site Content Manager allows you to attach multiple logins and passwords to a folder so you can allow multiple people access to the folder, each with thier own unique login and password!

 

• Acts as an FTP client - This allows you to:
  • Create folders, set the security of folders, rename folders, remove folders
  • Upload multiple files at one time
  • Unique previewer will show a scaled visual representation of what you are uploading (such as an image) before you actually upload it
  • Set the security of files, rename files, move files, copy files, download files, edit files (such as .html, .htm, .php, .cgi, .pl, .txt, etc) with the inline editor, and view files in the web browser
  • View the files along with other information such as the security level of files (such as 600, 644, etc), size of files and date last modified
• Supports server level folder authentication - This allows you to:
  • Create or select virtually any folders on your web site that you want to require server level authentication before a user can access the folder (for example, let's say that you have a file or web page in a folder that you only want certain people to be able to access. After you have set up the authentication on the folder, then those people that you allow in can access the file or web page while people without a login and password cannot).
  • Attach multiple accounts to a single folder if desired (so multiple users can access the same folder but with thier own unique login and password that you assign)
  • Maintains a list of user accounts attached to each folder for easy maintenance
  • Allows you to update user accounts such as a user's login and password, their email address, etc
  • Easily remove accounts and user access
• And, you can even activate and deactivate the Site Content Manager with the simple click of a button.
